Toshiba Satellite Pro M70-Psm76E - Power calibration Error - Burn process failed

Hi everyone My brother had Toshiba Satellite Pro M70 With Win XPPro, before a few days he try to record data DVD by Nero the record did not succeeded so he try with Sonic Record now and he get same error in sonic he get this Error (Sense: 03 ASC: 73 ASCQ: 03 (Command 00)

pxdrv.dll: 1.1.60.0
PxMas.dll: 2.6.55.500
PxWave.dll: 2.6.55.500
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3
and with Nero he get the Error on the Picture below, I have uninstall the DVD driver and update the software nothing change, the driver is recording CD normally without any problem , can anyone help?

There can be a number of reasons for this Power calibration error burn process failed error in Nero. It can be software or hardware.

1. First try disabling the Windows' own IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE.

Here is the steps (found in another website)

Quote:

1. on Desktop click Start
2. select Control Panel
3. click on Administrative Tools
4. click on Services
5. browse your way down to IMAPI CD BURNING COM SERVICE
6. right click (on IMAPI) then select properties
7. in the middle of the window, it will say start up type. Click on the arrow to the right and select disabled.
8. make sure you click APPLY

2. Buy a drive cleaner CD or DVD. Follow the instructions and use in it the drive. It'sll clean the lens assembly.

The same error report appears on Sonic Record now and we have installed clean version of Nero.
