Broken Monitor - Sumsung Hi-Def TV, cable missing?

So i guy i know droped his hi deffinition television and it no longer works. Me being me i decided to take if off of his hands and investigate the problem

It comes down to thier is a cable missing in the television that is 8 pins an comes from what i can best describe as the mother board of the television. I am trying to figure out what the cable is so i can have a second monitor. If it helps the television is a samsung, and it is rather large and has DVI and any other highdefinition format you can think of on the back.

Well, I don't have any idea of the internals of a Hi-def Telivison. You might want to check the product manaual first, but I doubt it'll document the internal hardware details. Try to search for a service manual online; sometimes the technician's manual will leak into the torrents.

But the the best option is get it checked by a local technician.

See i called Samsung cutomer support wondering if they could just give me the name of the cable, or just what kind of cable that it is so i would have an easier time looking for it. It turns out they can not help you with anything that is inside the case.

I think i will look for the user manual, but i do not think that will help much because samsung can not tell me what the part is.

Anyone have an idea about how you can get the specs for how these things are made?

Or if you see a broken 2333hd please inform me, because i am in the market to buy one. (put the parts toghether to make one operational monitor
