freezes during boot
My computer freezes durring the Boot, just before the mem test. The problem can be worked around, I have to unplug the system, wait 5 seconds, plug it back in and it starts up fine. I haven't made any hardware changes, I've cleared the CMOS (via jumper), double checked the memory... all good. I'm assuming it's not the CMOS battery as if it was dead it would just try to boot the default BIOS settings and get hung op on "can't find OS," I have a software RAID array. I'm stumped... I'm really hoping that I don't have to RMA the board, taking this thing appart take a really long time.

Re: freezes durring boot
nevermind, I figured it out. The antec skeleton has a speed selector for the 280mm fan. The lowest setting has a very big resistor in it (ie. slowing down the fan). This resistor, in conjunction with the rest of my equiptment was drawing too much current from the PSU, taking power away from the motherboard, causing it to freeze. Note to self, a speaker is a very good thing to have plugged into a motherboard... it allows you to hear systems beeps, which you can google to find why it is complaining. I'm simple.
