Re: Blue Screen

Sorry, draglord, I have been really preoccupied with school, and the fact that I spent all this money so I wouldn't have computer problems, and I still have them, is really overwhelming me, so much that sometimes I try to ignore it.

I shcecked the system for errors, and it seems to have cut down the frequency of the BSODs, but I am still getting them, I was hoping someone would know what to do with those dmp files and help me out that way. Because right now it seems like everyone is just guessing.

Re: Blue Screen

Hey, we are doing wat we can....we can only guess cos we dont know the exact nature and solution of BSOD's

now for memory management, i found this link here

its a lot of advice, so i cudnt just pinpoint wat u have to do

and this memory management error occurs due to corrupt memory also

try running memtest86+ check if its stable

also, try switching the RAM into other slots, like put the RAM into the other slot and other RAM in the first slot
many people solved it like this

Please take a note of the BSOD error code when it happen again. It'll be something like this:

Code:
Stop: 0x0000007E (0x0000005, 0x82F39BCB, 0xF8B3B69C,0xF8B3
We need this value: 0x000000xx

Alright, I will look out for that. I left it on overnight so I could fall asleep to my iTunes and it stayed on the entire time with no BSOD. Sometimes the music would glitch however, so it made me think it was getting close to BSODing.

So it is definitely doing a little better now that I've checked for errors.

Re: Blue Screen - it runs for like 5 minutes then turns off.

Type "cmd" into the Search box above the Start Button>and when cmd comes up
at the top of the Start menu>right click cmd and click "run as Admin" and
when the cmd prompt comes up at the cmd prompt type "sfc /scannow" no quotes
and let it run. This may fix things quite a bit. It replaces corrupt files
with intact ones, if you're not familiar with it.
If no help from SFC, you can try a restore point to before this happened or
you try the steps below if you have a Vista DVD:

check this link u may get some idea frnd

Stop 0x0000001a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD - Microsoft Windows Vista Community Forums - Vistaheads

all the best...

Re: Blue Screen - it runs for like 5 minutes then turns off.

BSOD full term is Blue Screen of Death are always and only related to Hardware related problems, either its a new fault RAM stick or incompatible drivers in the system32 folder in your OS.

To recitify this problem, you can do the following things:

#Open up your computer, everything turned off, and check for any loose cables that is either, SATA, the Molex power connectors, the Mobo's 12V and 24V connectors, and other cables connected to either your hard drives or graphics card.

#Next up you can do, is make sure all RAM sticks are in properly, swap and reseat if you have to, and test with one at a time to pin point the target problem if it is a problem with the RAM, as mentioned by the above enthusiasts willing to help, download Memtest 86+, a google search will get you there on the first link.

#Now you've gone through the hardware related possible problem solvers, you can do what I call a Internal Upgrade, but you need to have your Windows 7 disc. What you do, is log in your computer as what you do normally, load up the Windows 7 disc, wait for the setup splash screen to come up, agree with terms etc, and then you will reach a screen with 2 options, Upgrade and Custom installations, you can wait a bit after when you choose Upgrade installation, as if generates a Compatibility report, you should most likely definitely make it past, and then the disc will start regenerating new files over the old ones. You will not lose any current data or profiles and applications you have, but you will need to run Windows Update again after the Upgrade process has been complete and update your computer again.

#Another thing is you can do, is upgrade your motherboards BIOS, usually these add support to new hardware as if upgrades the Microcodes built into the boards, if you could provide the full specifications of your computer that would be great (The Newegg site doesn't work were I am) and you can download the latest non-beta bios from the manufacturer of your mobo and update it following the instructions there, as again, if you need help or feeling unpleasant from updating your BIOS, I and others can always help.

But yeah, overall this is either a compatibility, faulty or a lose RAM in your comp.
