"Input Signal Out Of Range" Error Help Please

Hello, So recently I bought a new PC and I have started getting a black screen and then the error "Input signal out of range change settings to 1920x1080 60hz" flashes on the screen and the only way for it to stop is to restart my pc. So far this has only happened while playing games such as Arma 3, Counter Strike Global Offensive, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, ect. It rarely happens while playing CS GO, CoD4 and other games exepct it always happens within a few minutes of Arma 3 and never at the desktop. I have checked my resolution and refresh rate in game and a few other ways at the desktop and they all say the correct settings, I also reset my monitor to factory default and it didnt do any good. I used this monitor with my old pc and it worked just fine.

Monitor Specs:

Name: HP 2311xi on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Current Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels
Work Resolution: 1920x1040 pixels
State: Enabled, Primary
Monitor Width: 1920
Monitor Height: 1080
Monitor BPP: 32 bits per pixel
Monitor Frequency: 60 Hz
Device \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0

Graphics Card:

Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Model: GeForce GTX 760
Device ID: 10DE-1187
Revision: A2
Subvendor: ASUStek Computer Inc (1043)
Current Performance Level: Level 0
Voltage: 0.975 V
Technology: 28 nm
Bus Interface: PCI Express x16
Temperature: 40 įC
Driver version: 9.18.13.4725
BIOS Version: 80.04.c4.00.bb
Physical Memory: 2047 MB
Virtual Memory: 12048 MB

I would really appreciate some help also feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks,

Re: "Input Signal Out Of Range" Error Help Please

Hey tis link can help u i hope...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286331

I had some similar issues to one of my customer PC.
just to see n confirm it i asked screenshot of tat monitor screen while flashing the error.
I solved tis issue by entering into safe mode (while booting press f8) and chnge the resolution settings to what ur monitor can handle.

if it occurs still try changing the resolution in the game setup. tat may click.

Re: "Input Signal Out Of Range" Error Help Please

I have already tried changing the resolution both in-game and at the desktop. I have also already seen that link and it did not help.

hmmm. Did u try anything in settings of the monitor. Like tried changing OSD settings (display mode).

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03351672.pdf

I just came across tis one while surfing...
read page 22 there is some option to set source control. can u chk tat. try changing the default setting here.

Solution 2:
(surfed around n came across tis one) i m not a gamer to knw more abt its setting n geeking
Edit the arma2oa.cfg and make sure these lines are set to a resolution/refresh rate your monitor supports:
Resolution_W=xxxx;
Resolution_H=xxxx;
refresh=xx;

Save and exit, then just to be sure right click on the .cfg and select properties and make it Read Only and see if that works..
