Processor Affinity - How do I know which process is using whichprocessor - Quad core setup
Hi folks. I'm trying to figure out how to optimize my system using
processor affinity. I'm trying to find out the following: 1. What processors are using which process. 2. Should I break down all processes in my system to different cores? 3. How to tell what applications can use multiple cores and how to set them up. For instance, I have some games that I run and I want to know if I set them to 1 or 2 cores if that will help because by default everything is using all four cores when I go to processor affinity settings for anything. I don't understand how this is possible since I have been told most things can't use 4 cores. Thanks for the info! |
