Viewing jpegs on a TV

Will jpegs viewed on a TV via a DVD player look any different if they are on
a CD vs a DVD? I don't know why they would but then there's a lot I don't
know!

It shouldn't make a difference. A jpeg is a jpeg regardless what it is
stored on.

It depends on the resolution of the TV. If you have high definition TV
it will look better than just plain analog. The pixels on the monitor
are more like high definition than the pixels on the old analog TV screens.
