Look, I'm an advanced computer user, but I have to admit that I don't know what "loose
XAML", "XPS documents", or Scriplets are. Or for that matter, what's the deal with
enabling or disabling "binary and script behaviors"???

Can someone point me to a good reference that explains all the Internet Explorer 7
security settings???

Personally, I find the best information on the web. I used to buy those
2-inch thick paperbacks from Que and Sams, but now I search the web instead.

Personally, I sometimes find the best information on the web, too.

But when a search fails, I post on these groups, because usually a professional will
post useful information.

"Binary and script behaviors" are compiled HTML components, Windows Script
Components or COM components that are delivered from a website instead of on
the client. The settings are as follows: "Enabled" allows all behaviors,
"Disabled" prevents them and "Administrator Approved" allows behaviors for a
list pre-approved by the System Administrator.

This feature is disabled in the Restricted Zone by default, but if you
disable it in the Internet Zone you will notice rendering issues at certain
sites. An example would be the Google Maps site:
http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=wl

Test this site with "Binary and script behaviors" Enabled in the Internet
Zone, and then test it with this feature disabled in the Internet Zone.
With it disabled in the Internet Zone you will not be able to see the
Directional Arrows or the Zoom slidder bar that overlays the Map.

I cannot open any attachments that end in pps. I get a notice that my
security settings will not allow it to be opened. I've tried changing my
settings but no luck. Can someone help
