If I click on a link to a media file, instead of WMP opening and streaming
the media, I get blank webpage that says there might be a connection problem.
The connection is fine. I can right click and save target no problem. I can
open the media files once they are downloaded locally no problem ( or
directly from WMP via open URL, thus the issue is only IE) . IE does not seem
to know how to open WMP on one of my machines to stream media. I have check
to make sure the WMP add on is enabled and also check file associations to
make sure the above mentioned extentions are associated with WMP. Any ideas
on where to look next?
