Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar

No matter what version of Windows I have upgraded to (I presently have
Windows XP professional), I have been able to continue using the old
Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar, which I prefer to continue using. I
place it along the top border of my desktop where it forms a nice line of
small icons that are always on top of any opened windows or running programs.
I have always moved frequently used favorite interent website links to it,
by dragging and dropping the links from my Favorites organizer onto the
Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar, where they become nice little icons.
Then I can just click on the icon on the shortcut bar and have the web
browser automatically open up and access the link I want (for example Google,
or Weather.com, etc.) However, I just downloaded Interenet Explorer 7, after
which all my old weblinks on my Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar did not
work, i.e., when I click on them my print window opens up :-( So, I figured
I would just need to delete the old links and drag new ones to the shortcut
bar. Tried this and they do the same thing. It appears that Internet
Explorer 7 has made it impossible to put interenet address shortcuts on my
Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar. I am not happy with this. Is there any
solution to this problem? Thanks,

Re: Microsoft Office 2000 Shortcut Bar

I have the shortcut bar running on my computer with IE7 since IE7 came out
so there must be something else causing your problem.
