Bug in IE 7 displays warning entering NON secure areas.
I have a client web site with a password protected directory. This is NOT a
secure directory using SSL just a password to limit who can go there. Yet
when attempting to log in usine IE7 the same warning popups up as would be
expected when entering an SSL area with a self-signed certificate. This
warning does not occure with other versions of IE or with Firefox or Oprah.
Is there a patch to fix this because it is an innappropriate warning,
unrelated to SSL security and slanders my client's web site and may scare
people away. This warning should only appear when entering a secure area (
SSL ) not via way of .htaccess file.
