IE7 - full screen video freezes

When switching IE7 to full screen in youtube and other sites, the video
freezes while the audio continues. IE6 works normally. I'm using XP MCE and
the latest flash player ...115.0. Uninstalling and re-installing flash fails
to fix this problem. What's going on? Can this be fixed or is there a bug
somewhere??

Hi,

While the Flash player is in normal mode, right click on the player and
choose "Settings" from the context menu. Remove the checkmark in the box
next to "Enable Hardware Acceleration" and see if that makes a difference.

Good luck,

Re: IE7 - full screen video freezes

Thank you Sir! That fixed the problem. Why does hardware acceleration NOT
work in IE7? It works fine in IE6 so why not in IE7?

You've got a lousy or underpowered video card?

Re: IE7 - full screen video freezes

The Adobe Flash enable hardware acceleration works fine when I use IE6 or
Safari (for Windows) browsers. It's only a problem and causes full screen
video freezing when I use IE7. If it were my video card (ATI Mobility Radeon
X600) wouldn't there be a problem with all browsers? Is there a bug in IE7?

You might want to add your voice to the the following thread on the Adobe
Flash Player fourm regarding issues with ATI video cards and problems with
