Deleting Temporary Internet Files CONSTANTLY

Every time before I close my browser I delete my temporary internet files,
and every time I open my browser I do the same thing. It takes anywhere from
15 seconds to almost a minute to do this. I don't understand why my computer
collects so many temporary files even if I haven't been on the internet. Does
anyone else experience this problem, and if so do they have a fix?
Thank you.

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by deceptive software.

Re: Deleting Temporary Internet Files CONSTANTLY

Keep in mind that Internet Explorer is an integrated technology of the
Windows operating system which is used by many applications for internet
access, even when the browser's user interface is not open.

For example, Windows Media Player and Microsoft Money use Internet
Explorer. So do viruses and other malicious software.

Re: Deleting Temporary Internet Files CONSTANTLY

Thank you SO much. I think these programs will help my problem. I've
downloaded Windows Defender, Windows Malicious Software Remover, and will be
downloading AdAware. I have SUPERAntiSpyware, and it catches things, but does
not solve my problem. I'll be doing a scan of my computer later today, and
will let you know if it helped.

Re: Deleting Temporary Internet Files CONSTANTLY

So far you've selected some of the most ineffective tools against
spyware, and nothing at all against viruses, trojans and other forms of
malware. You need to get serious about protection against malicious
software.

Re: Deleting Temporary Internet Files CONSTANTLY

If you go to Tools--Options--Advanced tab and scroll to the Security
section, yo can have IE automatically empty the temp folder.
