unable to select options from a SELECT control

I am not able to select any options from the SELECT control in IE7. The same code works fine in IE6 and Firefox.

the dropdown menu shows up properly with data. When an option is selected the drop down winds up but display the original value and not the newly selected value. It is happening with only one of the combo boxes. All other combo boxes work fine and show selected values. They contain less data max 4 lines and the one with problems has around 9 lines.

I read somewhere about the windowed and windowless controls but am not able to figure out what need to be done.

I tried modifying the CSS also, but to no avail as it is common for all the combo boxes in the page.

can someone help in this regard?

Please post-back with your html code for the problem listbox or a link to a
page where we can view the code.
At a guess I would say that you have a malformed code in this listbox since
all other listboxes are working fine.
