Send page by email - problem with forms.
When you send a page by email using send to - if there are forms on the page
(like a search form) IE does not properly handle forms it includes hidden fields and messes up the layout of the page. See bphope.jayson-blair.com --- attempt to email the page and you will see that the search form hidden fields are displayed and the body text is scewed as a result - pushed down on the page. This does not happen with Firefox, Netscape, or Opera - I have tested all three - only IE. 7.0 has the problem. Please fix - having complaints from users of the site. Re: Send page by email - problem with forms.
I am also having this problem in IE7 but it works in IE6. This is on an
intranet web site. Basically if you open a Word document in IE7 that is a form and I believe if its not a form the document does not get converted to an attachment as it did in IE6 but instead opens up the Word file binary content. Is there a fix for this yet?
