Windows Media Player Add-In

Just recently on my Vista machine, the Windows Media Player ActiveX control
started causing certain pages that use it to take forever to load. I'm sure
it's that add-in because I disabled all of them and added them back in one by
one.

When I go to a page that uses the control it takes about 30 seconds for the
page to load, and IE completely locks up during that time.

Is there anything that I can do to narrow down the cause of this?

Thanks,
Devin

RE: Windows Media Player Add-In

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling Media Player?

How to optimize or reset Internet Explorer 7

How to repair the operating system and how to restore the operating system
configuration to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista
