Newbie need help-

I had to do a complete restore to my computer and I have Windows XP and IE
7. Here is my question. Before my "crash", when I went to certain sites i.e.
eBay feedback, it remembered phrases I had entered prior. Now it no longer
does this and I would like to know if it was an add-in that I might have had
or if it is a setting which I have not corrected done.
Any help would certainly be appreciated!
Terri

Re: Newbie need help-

On the Content tab of Internet Properties, under the heading "AutoComplete",
click Settings, and check "Forms".

Re: Newbie need help-

What antivirus/firewall software are you using? This may be interferring
with registry changes.
Have you added these sites to your trusted sites list in the past?

cannot figure out how to add a site such as eBay to the trusted sites? Can
you advise?

Re: Newbie need help-

Tools>Internet Options>Security Tab
Click on Trusted Sites
Click on Sites Button
If you're looking at the ebay window when you do it, you will see
. Do not click on Add until you place your cursor between
http and : Once your cursor is placed, add s to http (https) and click on Add
It will be added to trusted sites

What should I know about using avast! 4 in combination with a firewall?
