IE7 auto launches
My IE7 launches all by its self and then when I have a window open, it
minimizes and maximizes all by its self. I cannot stop it. Then it starts opening like hundreds of IE windows. I have done a full virus, defrag, registry check and spy ware check and it still keeps happening. Any idea on how to fix this problem? Thank you |

Windows version?
=> Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode? To start IE7 in No Add-ons mode: 1. Right-click on the blue IE desktop icon and select Start without Add-ons; 2. Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No add-ons). More: Troubleshooting and Internet Explorer’s (No Add-ons) Mode: => Does the problem persist if you Reset IE7 Settings (RIES)? <= Read before using! Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log to an appropriate forum. Checking for/Help with Hijackware When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1 () is the preferred tool to use. It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with assistance from an expert. **Post your log to , , , , or other appropriate forums for expert analysis, not here.** If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin; DTS-L.org CulinaryCrafter wrote: > My IE7 launches all by its self and then when I have a window open, it > minimizes and maximizes all by its self. I remove the hot button and bam! problem fixed. Thanks Again! "PA Bear" wrote: > Windows version? > > => Does this behavior persist if you start IE7 in No Add-ons mode?
