ITem on Favorites menu gets locked

Every once in a while IE7 will lock out an item on the Favorites menu. If I
have a list of ten favorites on the main favorites menu, the locked out one
with show a small (2 pixels square?) box in the top right corner of the
highted menu item. The only way to access that menu item is to open the
favorites list outside of IE7.
What causes this? Another "feature"?

Sounds like the "gleam" for unread synchronized Favorites?
Do you have any Favorites in %windir%\Offline Web Pages

I don't use IE7 offline so I douby I have any. Could you clarify what
"%windir%\Offline Web Pages" is? This happens at home and at work.
