Unhappy Network trouble?

Ok so i play halo online and me and my friend are hooked up to the sdame network. we occasionally like to start up lan games. i can direct IP and get into his game but he cannot do the same for my game. I can also ping his computer but he cannot ping mine at all. I do not know what is wrong I have no firewall whatsoever currenttly. What do i do to fix this?

The ping block with firewall is like below.

Let us assume you have two computers A and B.

A - has Firewall installed

B- no firewall

Ping from A to B --- No block will come
Ping from B to A --- Firewall block may happen

That is the Firewall blocks ping request to this computer. Firewall usually don't block ping request from this computer.

As you said your friend cannot ping to your computer..... please check your Firewall settings.
