You Tube Won't Load

This problem has been going on for a week and a half. I can access other sites with no problems. Only youtube. There is no "this site is blocked" type of message. So technically I can access you tube. But it takes forever for it to load. And if it does this is what I get... (check attached pic)

When I try to use you tube's search, it just goes on loading but nothing happens. When I try to click on a video, it says I either have javascript disabled or I have an old version of flash. Well I made sure my javascript was enabled and updated to the latest version of flash. I also tried different browsers but still youtube has problems.

I tried accessing you tube from a different computer and proved that you tube was not the problem. I also did some virus scans but found no viruses.

I'm guessing maybe its my ISP. Coz I did have some connection problems before this. I already contacted them for support. Which I am still waiting for. But what if they tell me that everything seems right? But the problem still persists? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the time

Re: You Tube Won't Load

It could be some service running on Windows causing this problem. I'd go ahead and disable all the non-microsoft services in the msconfig services tab. Go Start/Run and type in msconfig, go to the Services tab click "Hide All Microsoft Services" checkbox at the bottom and click the "Disable All" button, hit Ok and restart.

Before doing this I would write/type down everything or take a screenshot, if that is easier, of everything that is enabled so you can go back to its original setting before the change (This will become useful later if this is or not the problem). You don't want to enable something that wasn't previously enabled before because it can cause additional problems. It will also help if you want to go back, if it's not the problem, or need to pinpoint the service causing the issue. If this works then go ahead and pinpoint exactly which service was causing the issue and find out why or if it's even needed and keep it off, if that's what you choose. Pinpointing may become a little timely, and force you to reboot a lot, but it will become well worth it in the end. Let us know if this helps!

Re: You Tube Won't Load

Sorry for the long reply. Everything is ok now.
We had a storm here in my country for 3 days. On the 3rd day, the connection was lost and stayed that way for 4 days. So I called the ISP. They sent someone over to check the wires and found out that water had managed to get in the wires. At first there was just a small amount, until it grew and so I lost my connection.

It was just a cable issue I guess. You Tube is ok now. Thanks for the time!
