internet speed test

i would like to test my internet speed in mbps,last week i test my internet speed here http://www.ip-details.com/internet-speed-test , it shown in kbps i need the right website to test in mbps,please let me know if there is anything.

I find the best speed test is to just try a download from apple or microsoft

speedtest.net is a very good testing tool also.

You can choose from multiple locations to test and you will see that your speed is varying, depending on distance.

For most accurately testings I recommend doing multiple downloads (at least 3-4) from linux locations (they are most certain to have enough amount of bandwidth, because they put entire dvd's for download).

Downloading simultaneously multiple torrents is also a good test.

Remember, always multiple downloads at the same time not only one.

Just convert as

1 mb = 1024 kpbs and vise versa...

Alternatively download Speedtest 1.0.6 @ Speed Test 1.0.6 - Free Download Speed Test by Absolute Futurity

- Website response time, connection time and bandwidth

- Memory usage
- Hard Drive space monitoring
- Hard Drive Activity
- Battery charge
- System Uptime
- Virtual Memory
- Processes
- Single process memory usage
