Help me before I throw my computer into the wall!

I am having a hard time with my internet. I am not able to run either Internet Explorer or Google Chrome at all. Thinking it was a virus I have downloaded 2 different Malware Anti-Virus programs and have run full scans. I did it about 2 months apart from each other. When I try to launch the net my computer will either automatically close the browser or nothing will happen in the window and it won't be able to access any web pages. Does anyone out there know what is going on or what I can do to fix it. Right now I have an expensive word processor and music player.

First, scan your computer with Malwarebytes in safe mode. Malwarebytes is the best free scanner to use Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download
Does your computer block all internet traffic or just browsers? So, do things like Skype or program updates work?

So it seems like it's probably a software problem then, most likely caused by malware.
I'm not sure of how to flush all your internet settings, so if running a scan with malwarebytes doesn't work you should wait for another member of the forum to come online.

That's one of the ones that I used, I ran the full scan in normal mode two days ago, in safe mode do I use the full scan or the quick scan.

The full scan in malwarebytes is a lie, it does exactly the same thing as the quick scan, it was just put there to fool people who don't trust the quick scan
So basically, either, it doesn't matter.

Ah, so the computer was infected before!
Then the malware has changed some settings in your computer that will kill the browsers. Like I said before, I'm not entirely sure on how to flush your internet settings, but you can try either reinstalling IE/Chrome, or install another browser like Firefox. If that works - then great, but if not, you'll have to wait until someone who knows how to flush it properly comes online.
