Internet slow on one PC

Hi friends

I have a Windows XP PC in my office and we use a data card for connecting to the net. Everything was fine till a couple of days back and I was able to browse the net without any problems; suddenly (2 days back) my browser has become very very slow and it takes ages to load webpages. I tried the same data card on other systems and it connects and loads pages fast, so I feel something has happened to my system only.

I have tried opening sites on Firefox, IE and Chrome and same problem on all 3 browsers - takes ages to load pages. Am not able to understand what the problem is. I have Avast anti-virus installed and it is updated regularly.

I would be grateful if someone could suggest how I could solve this issue.

Thanks in advance for your replies !

Slow network is a common phenomenon. Slow network speed can be caused by a number of things. to troubleshoot slow network is one of the most common and troublesome work in daily network management.

According to analysis, major reasons for slow network are:

Virus attack
DNS slow response
Application slow response
Error client mask

How can we quickly find out the cause for slow network happens? It's a good idea to capture and analyze packets with a network analyzer (e.g. Ax3soft Unicorn,Wireshark and so on).
