Videos not playing on youtube

Hi. I am having trouble viewing videos on youtube as when I click on a video to watch it, the video does not come up but all the comments and other text show up around it, where the video is supposed to be,is just a white space.nothing ,loads.

I logged onto etsy to day and i can't even see who hearted my shop or get chat to load.

i think ithas someything to do with macropmedia flash or java-i have sun java by the way.

any help would be appreciated.thanks/.

Hi I think you have to install the latest version of Adobe Flash player to resolve this problem.

Get it from here: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

Please get back here if the problem is not resolved with it.

YOu might not haVe falsh player installed on your system. trying going to www.adobe.com
It is free to download adobe flash player. it will be automatically installed , and then u can access youtube videos.

Its the problem with Flash.
You can install ActiveX for Flash .

EASY FIX BLACK SCREEN NO SOUND .
after trying and suffering for abt a week, stumbled onto a google advisory and did the following:
1. START any youtube video that's not working.
2. right-click on face of video.
3. click SETTINGS.
4. UNCHECK "Hardware Acceleration"
fixed it. blam. done.
NOTE there may be teeny little tabs you have to click to get to the correct dialog for Hardware Acceleration.
i went the whole 9 yards with MULTIPLE install/uninstall flash, shockwave, virus check, reset defaults, dump recently installed software, blah blah blah before finding this remedy. thought i should share.
