Toshiba screen brightness
I have just purchased a second hand Toshiba Portege 3440CT for my daughter.
It has Windows XP Pro SP2. Trouble is that the screen is at 100% brightness and I donot know how to adjust the brightness. Any one know of a solution? Thanks for your help Rohit Advertisement |

In addition I have an applet in Control Panel called 'Toshiba Power Saver' where you can make permanent changes. May be different between models of course! -- Jeff Gaines - Damerham Hampshire UK http://www.jgaines.me.uk/ Using XanaNews 1.17.5.7 |

Try downloading and installing all the relevant drivers and utility software for your model. You will have to use the Win2k stuff as this model predates WinXP. Of particular importance are the value added logical device and the utilities. JAB. -- Jonathan A. Buzzard Email: jonathan (at) buzzard.me.uk Northumberland, United Kingdom. Tel: +44 1661-832195 |

I did not realise that Win2K drivers would work on XP. I will give it a go. Thanks Rohit Advertisement |
