Diagnostic tools for Motherboard
Hello,
Do you know a diagnostic software who can tell you if there is a problem with the board ? Or do you know a method to test or to know if a motherboard is defective? Where I work when I do a diagnostic for a PC with problems, before to suspect if the board is defective : - I checked if there is a overheat somewhere - I check in the event viewer for error messages - I scan for viruses and malwares ... - I test the power supply - I test the RAM - I test the HD - I boot with live cd (UBCD4Win, Knoppix, Ubuntu Live CD, Bart PE ...) - I re-install Windows - I the problem is still there I change the video card, I remove everything except the cpu, RAM and PSU |
