Firefox 2.0.0.8 'page preview' causes exit

Using 2008.0 PP's Firefox, if I select the File option 'Page
Preview', Firefox immediately exits instead of doing preview.

Can anyone throw any light on this, please?

Yeouch, Mandriva needs to get caught up on updates.
I just installed firefox-2.0.0.10.tar.gz

Give us that p0rn url and we'll check for you. :-D

Just joking, but try a
locate index.html
and cut/paste one of those and see if it aborts the preview.

When you hit preview, the page's extension drives which app is to be
used to preview it. You might try clicking up a terminal,
firefox

and try again to see if you get a message.

Yes, indeed. (Under 2007.0, I just got an auto-update to
2.0.0.10.)

Did that with bookmarks.html. Page preview just flashed up
"Preparing" and then Firefox closed.

Did that with bookmarks.html. The message then given on
console was:

'Line 131 7102 Segmentation fault "Sprog" S{1+"S@"}'

Hmmm, no idea on your error message. Also you keep
saying Page Preview, I have been hitting Print Preview.

Am I in the wrong window?

That sounds like time to file a bug report.

Yikes, yes, of course it's PRINT review; apologies.
(Eye must have strayed to 'Page Setup' on line above...)

Been there, done that.

I ran Firefox 2.0.0.8 Print Preview without problem.

Are you running Kde or Gnome?
And able to print preview from other apps?
Is this a clean install or an upgrade?
Have you installed cups?
Is this a 32 bit install or 64 bit install?

$ cat /etc/release
Mandriva Linux release 2008.0 (Official) for i586
