Mandriva 2008.0 PP configures/uses Conexant 'winmodem'!

Recent auto-updates to the Conexant drivers has allowed 2008.0 PP
to configure and use the Winmodem in my desktop.
(Useful if/when BroadBand is not available.)

This is the first time I have had a Linux installation that could
do that!

Now to see if there is a 64-bit equivalant for the laptop...
