Good Biztalk 2006 Books or Sources
Anyone have any good documentation (reference book) that talks about creating
custom adapters/pipelines that is easy to understand? |

Roger,

Probably the best source of information on both is the biztalk documentation itself and the samples in the biztalk SDK. Pipeline components are certainly simpler (and better documented) than adapters, but the information is there, certainly. Here are a few other documentation sources to get you started: - The biztalk pipeline component wizard: http://www.codeplex.com/btsplcw - An article on design-time properties for pipeline components: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en - Writing effective biztalk adapters: http://technet.microsoft.com/library/ms942193.aspx - The biztalk adapter development blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/biztalk_adapter_development/ (several good links in here). Also many blogs have information on both of these topics (mine included). If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask! -- Tomas Restrepo http://www.devdeo.com/ http://www.winterdom.com/weblog/ |
