Put all the clipart catagories into single download zip files.

I think that on the Clip Art section of this site, their should be an option
to download certain catagories in a single zip file. Then you don't have to
go through each single picture to download them all....

....and to add to catagories, there should also be a complete zip file (for
fast surfers).

Re: Put all the clipart catagories into single download zip files.

You can only download 120 clips or 3.5MB file size in a single download.

Some Categories have hundreds of clips and this could amount to an enormous
file size even in a zip file which would take a long time for those on
dialup.

Re: Put all the clipart catagories into single download zip files.

Or why not supply the clipart on a CD (or DVD) with the highly-priced package
as was done originally?
Worry about the things you can't control and you may get them improved. If
you can't control them go elsewhere.

Re: Put all the clipart catagories into single download zip files.

Try Detect and Repair under the help Menu. This resolved a problem I had
with Clip Organizer 2003 after upgrading from Office XP.

They chose to offer the clipart media by way of the Web. There are
additional clips on the Clipart Media site that are only available to office
2003 users. It would be convenient for users to receive the clipart on CD.

You can use Clipart from previous Office Version. Office XP Media content
can simply be installed. To use Clipart from Office 2000 or earlier the
easiest way to clips is to install only Clip Gallery from your Office Setup
then to insert installed clips in Office 2003 go to Insert | Object |
Choose Microsoft Clip Gallery from the list.

The decision not to include clipart on CD was probably a marketing
decision based on the need of the average user of Office, which is most
likely businesses and most businesses would use little to no clipart. This
is only a guess not based on anything.
