Performed the action you suggested and found that Office Template & Media
Control was not disabled. I went ahead & updated Active x controls.

Detect & Repair appear to be working fine. The reference you gave me was for
Office 2003.

When rechecking Cip Organizer, after activating "search" 12 empty boxes came
up, stayed for 15 seconds or so & then disappeared. Lower box continued to
show "searching" All other functions became inoperative. Closed application.
This was followed with request to send error report to Microsoft.
Clip Organizer remains inoperative (Inial window appears, remains grey- )
Must restart windows before normal Cip Organizer window will activate.
Still need help.

The clip 2002 resolution has no effect. Tryed this at least two other times
with no improvement.
I went one step further with the error report. I restarted the computer and
was able to get a clean clip organizer application up. I then went to search
and got the same results as previously (i.e. searching was indicated with the
application frozen. Upon closing the window I got the error message, "had to
close & sending error message.
Error msg consisted of
Mdule 32
Version .dll etc etc etc
Mdule 2
ntdll.dll..........
Mdule 3
Kernel 32.dll .......
