New Submission; "No devices using the specified driver"

Hi all,

Hit another problem

I still have two clients configured - both 32-bit, one Vista one XP Pro.

The driver I have on a share on the Controller - \\win2k3dtm\drivers

The driver is installed on both machines successfully.

When I go through the Submission wizard, and select the inf etc, when I hit
next I get:
"No devices using the specified driver(s) could be found in the selected
machine pool. Running jobs with no devices will most likely result in a
failed submission. Continue creating submission even through no devices have
been found?"

Continuing doesn't do any good - the jobs just get stuck in the scheduler
it seems. The EXACT SAME driver IS installed (and tested!) on both machines

Any suggestions? I assume the gatherers have not indexed it properly - but
I've left it over 2 hrs now

Andy

Re: New Submission; "No devices using the specified driver"

In one case, I discovered that the Device Console does not like it when one driver is loaded into multiple submissions. For example, I often have to quality a driver for both Vista 32-bit and 64-bit. If I try to create a submission for both, the second one always fails with the "No devices using the specified driver(s)" error. The first submission must complete all its tests before another submission using that same driver is created.

Other times that wasn't the case though. This is a particularly bothersome problem.
