USB vendor specified class
Hi,
We have finished DTM testing our USB driver, in which it passed all tests. The device does not fall under any system defined class, so the tests were done as "Unclassified". We were told that at one time WHQL would not approve vendor defined classes, so we should define in our driver INF as "Class=USB". But in the Windows Hardware Logo Requirements, it claims that this class is reserved for USB Host Controllers or Hubs, neither of which our device falls under. Is it possible to get the WHQL digital signature with a vendor defined class? Thank you. |
