read from a usb controller

Hi,
probably is not the right place, anyway I have a usb controller installed on
a win xp machine.
It takes a pulse as input I would like to read it in a c# application, is
there some code example just to begin to write some code line?

thanks a lot and sorry for my newbie question

Re: read from a usb controller

the controller itself does not expose anything that you can use. do you
mean you have a usb device attached that takes a pulse as an input and you
want to talk to the usb device?
