Don`t install the Packages from the Deployment-Manager which you created for
installing on WM 5-Devices!

This should work:

copy the crmmobile_ppc05.arm.cab and execute it

Copy your certificates to the Device and put them into the certification
store

copy your CRMMobileexe.config into the program folder (take the one from an
other WM5 device or so. It must be the one with the configuration for your
enviroment)

Finish!

I think, the cabwiz from the Mobile Deployment Manager writes some info into
the *.cab/*.exe Files which made them incompatible with WM 6.

*.Net CF Framework, SQL 2005 for Mobile and the Replication are now
implemented in WM6, cause i don`t need to install these components.

Hi
Where should I execute the cab? at the PPC or on the server/PC?
When I copy the cab to the PPC (TyTn with WM6) and try to install it. I
received error message "The installation file is not intended for this
version of device"
Please help

Now I do not know what to do with the CRMMobileexe.config
Please advice

I have manage to install the CRM mobile on my Tytn with WM6
When I am trying to connect I received error message
A connection cannot be established at this time.
I am connected to GPRS and open the VPN (I can access the server using
Remote desk top)
Anye Idea?

Hi,

I've tried to get CRM 3.0 Mobile working on WM 6.0.

I've installed the 05.cab and installed the certificate for external access
on the device.

I'm operating on SBS 2003 R2 Prem (with ISA 2004).

When I try to connect on the device, I get an error:

SQL CE exception
Error Code: 80072F76
Message : Internal error: HTTP header information is either corrupted or
missing in the transport message. It could be a network transmission error or
an IIS problem.


I've experimented with the settings in ISA, in particular If I change the
publishing rule's "To" address, I get different results.

At the moment, ISA is using publishing.domain.local. SBS has a built-in cert
that allows for seamless https using the publishing certificate. The error on
the device changes to:

SQL CE exception
Error Code: 80004005
Message : An error has occurred on the computer running IIS. Try
restarting the IIS server.
Minor Err.: 28022
Source : Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Everywhere Edition Exception Contents

If I change the "To" to the server's IP address, I get the error above.


When I monitor traffic activity within ISA, I can see the WM 6.0 device is
connecting, the protocol is https, but the POST URL is
http://publishing.domain.local:446/s.../sqlcesa30.dll. I don't know if
this is how it's ment to be.


Has anyone got any ideas?
