RE: Microsoft Dynamics CRM server install Failed
The issue got resolved by correcting the local DNS entry which was pointing
to the wrong ISA IP and reestablishing domain membership. |

Re: Microsoft Dynamics CRM server install Failed
Benjamin,
No ... Not yet ... I am still waiting for some guidelines from anyone who went through my problem ... This was my posting: It is the first time for me to install CRM ... I have a Windows 2003 R2 Domain Controller, I configured another Windows 2003 R2 Member Server with SQL 2005 ... Joined the Domain and installed IIS & SMTP and all other required components for the CRM installation ... I tried to install CRM 3.0 on the new Server, all checks are GREEN, but at the final stage of installation, I got the error message: Action.CRM.Setup.Server.ProvisionBusinessAction failed. Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131534 I went back to the Domain Controller and cleared older records from the DNS Forward & Reverse Zones ... Then ran a ipconfig /flushdns to flush the DNS Cache as indicated in other threads ... Again, I started a new CRM installation, but got the same exact failure error ... Can someone help me troubleshoot the problem and determine what triggers the CRM installation to crash ... Appreciate your help and support ... "Benjamin Rose" wrote: > Did you solve your Problem? Re: Microsoft Dynamics CRM server install Failed
Hi,
Today I Got a suggestion from Microsoft and it worked for my Customer :-) Here is the suggestion: Please try the following and then re-try the install: 1. On the CRM Server open regedit.exe 2. Browse to HKLM\Software\Microsoft 3. If this does not include the registry key MSCRM then create it 4. browse into the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSCRM key 5. Create the registry value (of type DWORD) named: VerifyDomainName 6. Set the datavalue of the VerifyDomainName value to 1. Hope it helps in your case Benjamin "Reda Hanna" <> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:... > Benjamin, > > No ... Not yet ...
