E-mail router problem with v4 Online

I have the v4 Online router set up on an XP Pro machine. Setup seems ok, the
service is running, but everytime I test the connection, I get this error
message on the POP3 test connecting to a Hotmail test account -
pop3.live.com:

Incoming Status: Failure - The handshake failed due to an unexpected packet
format.

On the SMTP side, trying to connect to Server: smtp.live.com

I get the error:

Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection
to e-mail server smtp.live.com. A connection attempt failed because the
connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or
established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Any help appreciated.

RE: E-mail router problem with v4 Online

Hi,

Have you verified the port configuration in the emailrouter ?
Some servers might use different ports to communicate than default.
