Creating parent/child relationships
So I know it wasn't possible in CRM3 to create self-referencing relationships
for parent/child hierarchies, but I thought this was going to be available in CRM4. However, when I try to create the relationship in CRM4 between a table and itself, I get an error. Such a relationship exists for the "subject" entity, but I can;t do it for a custom entity. I do not see an error in the event log, and the text of the error in the web GUI is (typically) vague. Is this functionality still not available in CRM4? Thanks, Chris |

Re: Creating parent/child relationships
When you create the relations change the generated name of the
relationship - CRM creates the same name for the relationship for like relationships Pete "CList" <> wrote in message news:... > So I know it wasn't possible in CRM3 to create self-referencing > relationships > for parent/child hierarchies, but I thought this was going to be available > in > CRM4.
