Re: Two images: Fred, you'll like them!
Hi Andrew,
Very interesting results. The tablet/pen tool obviously offers more control; using a mouse is tricky. When I use many lines, the drawing gets very contrasty; closed lines yield the darkest values. Are you planning any type of vector output to be able to bring drawings into Expression Design? At ScissorsDemo each line has a fixed width- one pixel. When I converted images to halftone vector, each line has its own width, according what was at the source raster (but constant along line, unlike intensity, what actually changes). Unfortunatelly, for now my vector graphic cannot be opened by any vector editor, except my own ones course. Advanced vector graphic require some non-standard kind of records. It means, that one or more vector file formats must be expanded. I cannot do it for myself. Wait, may be some of big boys-owners of vector file formats- do it. What I'm doing is the tomorrow day of vector graphic, and created images can be opened only as raster ones by all existing editors. It is not so bad, because one may create a picture, save it as a raster and later use it as a start point- add text and so on. In any event, PaintingPen is in progress, and I'll inform you, when some interesting result is ready. Regards, Andrew |
