Web Expression2 creating asp.net control and receiving errors
I am trying to create a web site using asp.net. i have a website made with
expression web, and this problem occurs whether i open that using expression web2 OR creating a new site with expression web2. I creat a master.dwt, that is fine, then i create a .master page... ok there. as SOON as i try to drop a control of any kind on the page, i get this error: Error Creating Control- ContentPlaceHolder1 Could ot load file or assembly 'system.design, version=2.0.0.0, Cultur=neutral, publicKeyToken=b03f5f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. THe module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It cant be a conversion prob from EW to EW2, so it must be something else. Some of this is in the basic EW step by step book, and it doesnt work so i dont think its a complex thing... Any ideas???????? thanks! I should say i am running this on a Windows XP [media center] laptop. Thanks! |
