Classic ASP
Just downloaded EW II trial.
Any clues on how to obtain classic ASP vbscript intellissens whitout having to add these line. <rscript language="vbscript" type = "text/vbs" runat="server" > code here </script> The probleme whit a runat="server" is that the design mode dosen't work anymore. I can't beleive that MS can so easily support VBScript in a .vbs file and not into a classic .asp file. Still will stick to DW, sorry |

Re: Classic ASP
Many here agree with you on the lack of Intellisense for classic asp (and
are equally annoyed that in EW v2 the file extensions .asp is left off the list of document extensions you can prevent a BOM from attaching). Please go to http://connect.microsoft.com and file a bug/feedback that you want and need classic asp Intellisense and support. (You have to join the Expression Studio feedback group to do so, sorry.) -- Cheryl D Wise MS MVP Expression Author: Foundations of Microsoft Expression Web See our selection of Expression Web tutorials at http://by-expression.com/content/tutorials.aspx "Gaetan" <Gaetan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:596CAA8D-3F75-435D-9812-0561E09022D7@microsoft.com... > Just downloaded EW II trial. > > Any clues on how to obtain classic ASP vbscript intellissens whitout > having > to add these line. > > <rscript language="vbscript" type = "text/vbs" runat="server" > > code here > </script> > > The probleme whit a runat="server" is that the design mode dosen't work > anymore. Re: Classic ASP
Classic ASP is not the strong point of EW, unfortunately. MS has focused on
ASP>NET. And, IMO, they have not quite got that down either. But, EW is not a development tool; it is a design tool. -- Gregory A. Re: Classic ASP
Does Visual Web Developer (Express) 2008 offer better Intelli-sense for
classic ASP? "Cowboy (Gregory A.
