Guide lines
How does one move or remove guide lines once they are in place?
Guides I had placed in the 1.0 release are in a different place in the 2.0 beta and I can't seem to erase them or move them to the correct position. -- -- Bob Powell [MVP] Visual C#, System.Drawing Ramuseco Limited .NET consulting http://www.ramuseco.com Find great Windows Forms articles in Windows Forms Tips and Tricks http://www.bobpowell.net/tipstricks.htm Answer those GDI+ questions with the GDI+ FAQ http://www.bobpowell.net/faqmain.htm All new articles provide code in C# and VB.NET. Re: Guide lines
Hi Bob,
That should not be the case, at least theoretically. If you could share the markup, that would be awesome. To answer your question, you can select a guide line for Grid by clicking on the adorner in the blue area (where you add new guide lines) and hit delete or by double clicking on the guideline adorner in the same area Thanks, -Unni P.S: We encourage you to use the new forums at http://expression.microsoft.com as this is now defunct. Re: Guide lines
You don't seem to understand. I am not talkig about the Grid component but
the snap-to grid that has guide lines on the page. Click in the ruler on either the top or side of the page and drag a guideline somewhere.. Now move or erase that guideline.. -- -- Bob Powell [MVP] Visual C#, System.Drawing Ramuseco Limited .NET consulting http://www.ramuseco.com Find great Windows Forms articles in Windows Forms Tips and Tricks http://www.bobpowell.net/tipstricks.htm Answer those GDI+ questions with the GDI+ FAQ http://www.bobpowell.net/faqmain.htm All new articles provide code in C# and VB.NET. Re: Guide lines
Hi Bob,
I had the same problem, and it frustrated the hell out of me! It turns out that the help file calls them "ruler guides". Hold down the Alt key, and you can drag the guide lines around or move them back to the ruler (which deletes them). -Steve Haroz "Bob Powell [MVP]" wrote: > You don't seem to understand.
