Upgrading?

How do I get the $99 price for the upgrade from EM1 to EM2? I have
downloaded the trial EM2, but when I go to buy it just gives the full price.
My original EM1 does not show a PIN number to register when I click on About
EM. It is a very confusing checkout for upgraders who are not in the Free
upgrade group. I upgraded from iView media Pro when the free upgrade
happened.

Thank you
Nancy

RE: Upgrading?

I have ordered through Amazon, thank you. But, when I go to get the PID
number my box is blank. Why so?

RE: Upgrading?

Hi Nancy,

You can use the Product Identification number (PID) to register your
current version of Expression Media. You can get the PID, launch EM1, click
Help > About Microsoft Expression Media. The 20 digit number displayed in
grey box is the PID number.

Full and upgrade version of Expression Studio 2 products including
Expression Media 2 will be available for purchase late May 2008 and
currently these products are not available for pre-ordering from
DigitalRiver website. Please check back the following website late May 2008
to place your order for the upgrade.

http://msstore.digitalriver.com/msevs-us/default.aspx

Alternatively, you can pre-order the upgrade copy of Expression Media 2
from Amazon.com. Visit the following Expression Media web page and click
the link called "Amazon.com" and click "EM2 upgrade" link on the Amazon web
page.

https://www.microsoft.com/expression...aspx?key=media

Please let me know if you have any questions.

RE: Upgrading?

Hi Nancy,

I'm not sure why the PID is not shown on your system. The display settings
could be likely cause for this issue.
