Any way to change case of file suffix in Action -> Convert Image F

Running EM 1.0.8 on a Mac. Using Action -> Convert Image Files makes jpegs
with file extension ".JPG", not ".jpg", and I can't seem to find anywhere to
change this. Photoshop and other apps all do ".jpg". The server-side scripts
I'm running are case-sensitive, so I have to manually change the case of all
my file extensions.

Is there perhaps a preference file I can edit or some other way to change
this behavior?

RE: Any way to change case of file suffix in Action -> Convert Image F

I don't think the application has a preference to change the case upper case
to lower case.

You can always change it in the Finder using the preinstalled Applescript.
Make sure the script menu item is in the menu bar. Under Finder Scripts:
Replace Text in Item Names: You should have the parent folder selected, try
replace .jpg with .JPG.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there isn't any user level option to change the extensions
since it's hard coded within the application. I'll document this behavior
and submit it to our product group.

RE: Any way to change case of file suffix...

If the main part of your filename is in lower case, or doesn't matter if it
is, then you could use the 'Batch Rename' function. You would select
'Filename' only and then tick the 'Format' box and select 'Change to
lowercase'.

If the main part is mixed or upper case then I don't know a way inside
xMedia to do other than using a script. However I'm on Windows so any script
I could do would not port to your box.
