Contact sheet workflow??
Hi-
At least the way I am using EM, the contact sheet feature is one of the weakest. I like to use Photoshop contact sheet with 12 images per page so I can see them well enough and cut them up for mock ups. Is there any way to make high quality contact sheets like that with EM? I have let EM create my thumbs (which the help says is better than embedded) and I don't really see any difference in quality. If there is no EM way to make the contact sheet, is there any way to have EM copy the results of a search to a new folder on the HDD??? I don't see how to copy anywhere but to a folder in the catalog... thanks tom |

RE: Contact sheet workflow??
Instead of Make > Contact Sheet try the File > Print : Contact Sheet : Full
Page - If your in Thumbnail view it picks up what you have in your current view. I save a View Options to get me make to a perfect contact sheet just how I want it. You can also check Hi-Res thumbnails and this uses the original media and not the thumbnail EM built. When you do your search choose Show in new catalog at the bottom of the find option. Your find results will open in a new catalog. In this new catalog select all the media and choose Action > Transfer to Folder > Duplicate Files - now you can make a copy to a new folder and the originals are untouched.
