Sounds like you aren't sending the proper resolution to the plasma display.
Are you using a widescreen notebook? Do you see the lines on the notebook display? Can you find what the native resolution is for the plasma? Provide make and model for the computer and plasma and we can get you fixed up. ..............TD "allan3aes" wrote: > have set up a powerpoint 2007 in 16:9 but when it is displayed on a wide > screen plasma there are black lines at the top and bottom of the screen. |

RE: why are there still black lines on the top and bottom of a scr
Hi
The laptop is running xp pro and is a HP6710b model gp192pa t7300 and the plasma is a panasonic 65 inch TH-65PY700AZ 1920x1080 we created the powerpoint in 16:9 format thought we had it set up correctly. Hope you can help Thanks Allan "TDunn" wrote: > Sounds like you aren't sending the proper resolution to the plasma display. > Are you using a widescreen notebook? The Intel graphics on your laptop should be able to do this. Unfortunatley
the display on the laptop can not. That Panasonic is an awsome display and the native resolution is full HD at 1920x1080. So you need to send the image only to the plasma then try setting the resolution to 1920x1080. You may have to experiment with different resolutions if the Intel chip can't go that high. Try something like 1366x768. If that works you can use the laptop display as well depending on which version you have. Give this a try and let me know what happens. .................TD "allan3aes" wrote: > Hi > The laptop is running xp pro and is a HP6710b model gp192pa t7300 and the > plasma is a panasonic 65 inch TH-65PY700AZ 1920x1080 > we created the powerpoint in 16:9 format thought we had it set up correctly. > Hope you can help > Thanks > Allan > > "TDunn" wrote: > > > Sounds like you aren't sending the proper resolution to the plasma display. > > Are you using a widescreen notebook?
