Arial Black font stuck on italics

Using PPT 2007, the Arial black font is defaulting to italics. Tried turning
the italics on and off but that is not working. How can I get the Arial
black font to be normal?

RE: Arial Black font stuck on italics

Are you typing the text in a text box.
Do check if it is happening for Arial Black only.

Yes I was typing in a text box and it was only happening to the Arial Black
font. It also types in italics in word as well.

I get that too, once in a while, even in the Mac 2008 version. My typical
fix is to delete font caches and reboot. That, and I try to avoid Arial
Black.

Also if you've updated to SP3, read this
