5 text box animations on one slide
Hi
I have a slide that contains 5 text boxes, each containing an answer to a question. I want to be able to reveal each answer as they are guessed by my audience - i.e. if the audience guess answer 3 first, I would be able to reveal answer 3 at that point. If the audience then guessed answer 5 next, I would then be able to reveal answer 5 (with answer 3 still showing). I have tried doing this through by selecting the first text box with an answer (Rainfall), going to the "Custom Animation" task pane, and then choosing "Entrance -> appear", and then on "Timing" setting the Trigger to be "Start effect on click of" and choosing "Content Placeholder 2: Rainfall". For answer 2, I've then selected text box 2 and followed the same process as above. Same for answer 3, 4 and 5. However, when I run the slide show, it will only let me select and display answer 1 (a hand appears to let me know there is an entry on the slide there and when I click it answer 1 appears) and not any of answers 2, 3, 4 or 5. Can I change something to allow me to display 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in any sequence I wish depending on in what order the audience "find" the answers? Regards |

But at the start of the slide your textboxes are not shown, so you can't click on them. Insert an object (e.g. a rectangle) behind them which has the same color as the background or is 99 per cent transparent. Chose to click on this object to make the text appear. Your audience will not notice them, but you have to memorize, where they are. Best regards, Ute -- Ute Simon Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team und PowerPoint-User-Team Schon gesehen? und |

This is easy to do: you can find an excellent talk by Rick Altman on this
here .
