Powerpint 2007 grid is not precise

Hi - I have a slide in 10 X 10 cm with a grid set to 2 pr cm
I have enabled Snap to Grid.
When I try to position lines to the gridpoint they are clearly not precisely
positioned
Problem only in 2007 - When Im working in 2003 there is no problem
Im guessing it some inaccurate calculations between cm and inches?
Any one know what to do to enhance the precision of the grid?
